The AlphaSmart 2000 can enter and edit text and then send it to a PC or Macintosh computer for saving or further formatting. It runs up to 700 hours on three (3) AA batteries (a rechargable battery pack is installed) and one can connect either a PC or Apple keyboard to it.
This model includes an infrared port.
