The Astrocom NX1 CSU/DSU is designed for the T1 and Fractional T1 marketplace. The user port supports data rates of Nx64k or Nx56kbps where N = 1-24 active DS0's. Compliant with AT&T publication 62411, the NX1 supports both SuperFrame (D4) and extended super frame (ESF) and is DACS compatible. The NX1 supports full ESF diagnostics. It also support B8ZS and AMI line codes. Alternating and contiguous DS0 placements are also supported.
