Clarent products are now owned by Verso. Verso’s Clarent Edge Access Softswitch is a Unix-based, software-centric, modular end-office and H.323 Gatekeeper solution built on Verso’s field-proven three-tiered architecture. Verso’s Clarent offerings consists of Verso’s Clarent Command Center and the Class 5 Call Manager software that make up the softswitch, the Element Management System and Verso or third-party gateways.
