The MIL-9100X Media Conversion System fits into a 19-inch, 1U rack size. It has eight module bays for a line of hot-swappable, rack mount modules. The unit ships with one power supply, but has a bay for an additional hot-swap, load balancing, redundant power supply. The Media Conversion System allows you to mix or match your conversion needs, when you need it and where you want it. You can select from the line of UTP to fiber converters for Ethernet, Fast Ethernet or ATM networks for single-mode fiber or multi-mode fiber. You may also install multi-mode to single-mode converters for Fast Ethernet, ATM or Gigabit Ethernet. If you wish to add a redundant link, you can choose from the line of redundant transceivers as well. |
